Matariki Acrostic Poem

My Reflection:
I was learning to write an acrostic poem about Matariki,
I found it easy to write about Matariki because I know lots about Matariki.
I found the letters A and I the hardest because there was two of them and I could only think of one sentence for each.
I want to work on  adding in more interesting words in my writing.

Bike Skills and Rugby Skills

My Reflection:
I was learning to compare two events in my writing. I found it easy to think of my ideas that I wanted to write about. I found spelling some of the words hard. I want to work on adding in lots of interesting words. /div>

Pepeha Art

My Reflection:
I was learning to create a visual representation of my pepeha.
I found colouring hard because it was tricky to not mix up the colours.
I found drawing the mountain easy because it was a simple shape.
I want to work on not mixing up the colours.
                     
                                                                                                    

Skip Counting

My Reflection:
I was learning to skip count in 2,5 and 10 to help me with my times tables.
I found counting in twos easy.
I think I am good at skip counting.
I want to work on skip counting in 5 and 10 to make my times tables easier.

Grandpa's Cardigan

My Reflection:
I was learning to summarise the main ideas in the text.
I found the last question the easiest.
Writing my answers in full sentences was harder for me.
I want to work on making sure I am writing my answers using full sentences.
